Mistakes Happen
As the great Hannah Montana once crooned, everybody makes mistakes. And we are certainly no exception! From miscounts to typos, misalignments to papercuts, we've had our fair share of mishaps. Of course, every mistake is a chance to learn and we definitely take that opportunity, though sometimes it takes us another round or two of miscuts.
Speaking of cuts, you can probably imagine the number of papercuts we get. Well, it's more than that! By the end of the week, nearly every finger of mine has been bandaged, and is ink stained. And not to mention the number of times I've broken a nail trying to fix a jam or load the printer. My fingernails are reminiscent of a tea pot, short and stout.

Following the theme of cuts, one of our employees learned our cutter's limits. It can easily slice through tons of paper but it's no match for a single metal ruler. And sometimes we get so into the zone, we're so deep in our flow state, that we forget to double check a booklet is facing the proper way before we cut the excess off.

Sometimes a detail slips through the cracks or we forget to ask an integral question (the number of times I've had to call or email back to ask what size a print is supposed to be or if it's supposed to be in color is absurd at this point!) One time I designed a menu for an Italian restaurant, and no less than four people looked it over and approved it before I realized during the final edit that I had misspelled "Appetizers" as "AppeRtizers". I've forgotten to fix the print settings for double-sided projects, and turned signs the wrong way so they're upside down on one side. I've accidentally burned t-shirts during pressing.
So we make a lot of mistakes, simple mistakes that just paying more attention would fix and thankfully nothing too serious and we're able to laugh everything off. We all have our off days. But we love what we do and we're thankful for each and every order!
